Good afternoon!
Happy Tuesday! I hope you are all doing well.
I had a little technical difficulty yesterday and this morning loading up Week 3 review! I am hoping to have that up before 3:00 today!
Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or if you just want to say hi! I miss you all!
Writing Prompts of the Day!
- Have you ever experienced deja vu (a feeling that you have already experienced the present situation)? What was it about?
- Pick one of the following careers: music DJ, sushi chef or firefighter. This will be your job for the next 3 months. Why did you choose it, and what benefit do you think you will gain from it?
- Write a "thank you" note to a special person in your life. Thank them for being in your life rather than for something they did.
Happy Writing!
Happy Monday!
I hope you all are having a great day and staying safe!
Just a few things: In a few, I will be posting the answer review for Week 3.
Make sure to be working on Week 4. Week 4 and 3 are due on Friday! We are encouraging paperless, so please try to email me your work or submit through Remind or Teams. Remember, you may send it in file form, picture form or scanned. Just as long as I can see your answers!
Miss you all! I am hoping to post a video very soon. Any question, please message me.
Writing Prompt of the Day: What was your favorite toy 5 years ago?
Good afternoon,
Happy Friday! I hope you have been keeping yourself busy with school and other fun activities.
You should be finished with your Week #3 packets and getting ready to start your 4th Week. Or, you are already finished with both, great. And if you are not.... still great! The great thing about distance learning is you can absolutely pace yourself.
Monday, I will have a review of Week #3 up. Have a wonderful weekend!
Writing Prompt of the Day: Do you find skeletons to be scary or interesting?
Happy Writing, and miss you all my loves.
Good afternoon! I am now available for any questions you may have,
The most frequently asked question so far of the week is "How can I type into the document? Some areas will not let me."
This is just how the document is formed. Some of the graphs you see I could not convert to be typed into. So for those parts, you just need to have answers on a document. For annotation, you may take notes on a separate document as well.
I hope that answers some questions!
Writing Prompt of the Day: If you could become any actor, writer, or singer, who would you become and why?
Happy Writing! Miss you, loves.
Coordinate: Based off the couples matching in red, I am going to assume to “coordinate” means to literally match, or relate to in some way.
Interrogate: Based off of the picture, this person looks like they are being investigated, almost to the point where it is a lot. So I am going to guess that this person is being asked a lot of different questions.
Accuse: In this picture, the girl seems to be angry, yelling and point fingers. So I’m going to assume she is trying to blame someone for doing some.
Did anyone else have a different interpretation? Let me know!
Good afternoon!
I am now available. I am about to post a vocabulary review!
Any questions or comments, you may send via remind, email or website.
Writing Prompt of the Day: Create a superhero for your current city. What would they fight? Describe their appearance, name and special powers. You have just bought a sailboat, and you have to name it. What would you name it? Where is the first place you'd sail to? Happy Writing!
Good afternoon! I hope you are all doing well. I am now available for any questions!
I will be posting a review of Vocabulary this afternoon! I will send details when it is published.
Writing prompt for the day: You are planning the dinner party of your dreams there are eight chairs. You can invite seven other people (anyone sill alive). Who will fill the chairs and what will make this dinner interesting?
Happy writing! Miss you all!
- Mrs. G.
